Maria Otilia Pereira Oliveira, age 89, of Somerset & Canada, passed away Aug. 13, 2009 in Fall River. She was the wife of the late Guilherme Oliveira. Born in Capelas & resided in Fenáis da Luz, Sao Miguel, Azores, daughter of the late Jose Pereira Soares & Maria Conceicao Soares. She was a homemaker at home and previously a seamstress in Portugal. She was also a parishioner of St. Michael Church.
Three children survive her: Jose & Missão Oliveira and Norberto & Eduarda Oliveira, all of Canada and Berta P. & Eduardo Ferreira of Somerset. A sister, Margarida Cabral of Canada, six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and several nieces & nephews. She was the sister of the late Jose, Gil, & Agostinho Pereira Soares
Her funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1521 N. Main St. SATURDAY at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael Church at 10:00 A.M. Entombment in Notre Dame Mausoleum. Calling hours FRIDAY 5-9P.M.
