Mario Richard Natola, 74, of Derry, NH, died Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at his home following a long battle with lung cancer. Mario was born on September 8, 1934 in Boston, MA, a son of the late Cleveland and Marie (Fabiano) Natola. Mario was raised and educated in Revere, MA and enlisted in the Air Force in 1951. Upon his discharge in 1955 Mario was employed at the Raytheon Corporation where he worked for 35 years. Following his retirement, Mario was actively involved in the Calvary Bible Church in Derry. He had many interests, including coaching youth hockey, building and flying remote control airplanes, and rescuing rottweilers.
Mario is survived by his wife, Paula A. Natola; his four children, Mark A. Natola, Doreen A. Walsh, Kimberly J. Natola, and Leigh A. Natola; as well as eight grandchildren.
Following cremation, calling hours were held at the Calvary Bible Church, 145 Hampstead Rd., Derry on Saturday, August 22nd from 9:30 - 11:00am with a service that followed at 11:00am in the Church. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry is handling the arrangements.
