Mrs. Florence M. (Goodwin) Flynn, 75, of Methuen, Massachusetts passed away on Sunday, August 9th, 2009 at the North Shore Medical Center, Salem Hospital in Salem, MA.
She was born in Gloucester, Massachusetts and educated in the Jeremiah Burke High School in Dorchester, MA. Florence later attended Business Courses. She worked for Salad Foods as the bookkeeper for some 20 years.
Florence was a parishioner of Saint Monica's Church in Methuen, MA. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, care taker of her home, she was an avid reader of mystery and romance novels. Florence kept current on her health care, especially on keeping healthy and fit. She loved animals and was very interested in the MSPCA, rescue leagues, and Angells Memorial Hospital.
One of the doctors and the medical staff who recently treated Florence best described her as "A sweet Lady".

Her husband of 41 years Mr. William E. Flynn of Methuen, MA., married in May 1968.
Her sister: Helen Walfield of the North Shore
Her brother: Paul and his wife Sarah Goodwin of Peabody, MA.
As well as several nieces and nephews and very close friends.
she was the sister to the late William Goodwin who passed in 2000.
Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 14th, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in Saint Monica's Church in Methuen, MA.
Burial will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence, MA.
