Patricia A. (Gallagher) Flaherty, Of Woburn, died Thursday evening, August 6, 2009, in Reading at the Sawtelle Family Hospice House.
Patricia was a Woburn resident for most of her life. She was a graduate of the St. Charles school system and had a passion for reading that was only surpassed for her love of her children.
Patricia was the beloved wife of the late Thomas F. Flaherty. Devoted mother of Thomas Flaherty of Alaska, John Flaherty of Lynn, and Michael Flaherty of Bar Harbor, ME. Cherished grandmother of Melissa Flaherty of Alaska. Dear cousin of Mary Ryan of Tewksbury, Brenda Maskewich of NH and long time companion of "Cinnamon".
Funeral from the McLaughlin-Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., Woburn, Monday at 9 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Charles Church, 280 Main St., Woburn at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 5 thru 8 Services will conclude with burial at Calvary Cemetery, Woburn.
It has been requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Patricia's name be made to the Woburn Public Library, 45 Pleasant St., Woburn, MA 01801.
