FALL RIVER… Deborah M. (Newcome) Velozo, 59, of Assonet died Tuesday August 5, 2009 after a brief illness.
She was born in Newport RI the daughter of John Newcome of Fall River and the late Gloria (Medeiros) Newcome. She was the wife of Richard J. Velozo. She was an Electronics Technician with Brookfield Mfg in Middleboro MA.
She enjoyed bird watching and reading.
Survivors include her husband and father, a daughter: Kim Souza and her fiancé Richard Farland of Berkley MA, a step son: Peter Velozo of Westport MA, a step daughter: Pamela Granger of Lake Wales FL, a brother: Charles Newcome of Daytona, FL, 4 grandchildren: Stephanie Souza, Cory Souza, Kyle Velozo and Madison Velozo and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Patrick Newcome, the late John Newcome and the late Christopher Newcome.
