Patricia (Spillane) Fitzgerald of Stoneham formerly of Lynnfield passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. She was 63 years of age.
Born in Stoneham, Patricia was the daughter of the late Margaret (Tobin) Spillane and Patrick Spillane. Patricia was a loving wife, daughter, mother, sister, and friend and will be missed by all.
Patricia was a longtime member of St. Patrick Parish in Stoneham. Her children also attended school there. She was also a longtime member of St. Patrick Mother’s Club and volunteered for fundraising for the church. Patricia worked for Kraft Foods for over 30 years. She had a love for her family that was unparallel; they were first and foremost in her life.
Patricia was the beloved wife of John Fitzgerald. She was the devoted mother of Sean Fitzgerald and his wife Erica of Burlington and Kate Fitzgerald of Wakefield. Patricia was the dear sister of Richard Spillane and his wife Christine of Manchester and Donald Spillane of ME. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Saturday at 9 am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Patricia’s life in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central Street, Stoneham at 10 am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the family on Friday from 3-8 pm. Parking attendants will be available. Interment Forest Hill Cemetery, Lynnfield.
