Charles F. “Chuck” King, 80, of Summerville, husband of Mary L. King, died Friday, July 31, 2009 at Roper Hospital.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2009 at 12:30 at Stallsville United Methodist Church, 255 Stallsville Road, Summerville.
Mr. King was born August 21, 1928 in Columbus, OH, son of the late Howard King and Ruth M. King. Mr. King served in the United States Navy and retired from the Food Store industry as a Meat Director working for A&P Food Store and Doschers Food Store. He was a volunteer with Summerville Medical Center for 13 years. He was a 32nd degree Mason and was a fifty year member of the Mason’s where he first joined in the Masonic Lodge in Columbus, OH and was a current member of the Old Fort Masonic Lodge.

Survivors, including his wife Mary, are two nieces and three nephews; Roseann Elliott (Bruce) of Bremen, OH, Felix Zabonik of Bremen, OH, Betty Lou Johnson (Layne) of LasVegas, NV, Randall Lutz (Pam) of Lancaster, OH and Donald Davis of Tyler, TX and two sisters in law; Betty Schwartz of Summerville, SC and Imogene Holt of Columbus, OH.
