Richard Koroblis, of Plymouth, passed away on August 3rd at the age of 79 at Jordan Hospital. He is survived by his beloved wife Virginia “Ginny” Koroblis (Palby) of Plymouth, his son Stephen Koroblis of Falmouth, his daughters Martha Cavicchi and her husband Michael of Plymouth, Mary Malone of Plymouth and Lisa Moulton and her husband Frank of Northport, FL and 6 grandchildren. He is the father of the late Katrina Koroblis and brother of the late Victor Karoblis and Wanda Breen. Richard was born in Athol and graduated from Athol High School. He served in the U.S Marine Corp during the Korean Conflict and was a carpenter with Local 624 in Brockton. He enjoyed gardening, singing and was a member of the choir at St. Peter’s Church. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, August 7th at St. Bonaventure’s Church at 11 AM followed by burial at Manomet Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 9 to 10:30 AM prior to the mass at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 619 State Rd (Rt 3A), Plymouth (Manomet). In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Charity of One’s Choice.
