Noyes, Charles R. “Charlie”, 69, passed away in his home surrounded by his family on July 30, 2009. He was the husband of Joan M. (Sinclair) Noyes, with whom he shared 50 years of marriage.
Born in Danvers on May 5, 1940, he was the son of the late Clifford W. and Helen F. (Macdonald) Noyes. He was a lifelong resident of Danvers. Charlie was employed for over 20 years as a property manager at Fairview Machine. Charlie made many friends on the golf course throughout his life.
Besides his wife Joan, he is survived by two daughters, Cheryl Ann Moulton and Nadine Marie Orlando, both of Danvers, four grandchildren, Michael and his wife Olivia, Nicole and Stephen Moulton and Taylor Orlando, four sisters Betty Skoniecki of Beverly, Marge Falkowski of Peabody, Carol Walsh of Beverly and Sandra Riley of Lynn, three brothers, Harry, Bob and Don Noyes all of Danvers and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers Clifford and Richard Noyes.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, Aug. 3, 2009 from 4-6PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. There are no funeral services. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Charlie’s name to Cancer Services, Attn: Elisa Scher, Beverly Hospital, Beverly, MA 01915.
