Obituary

Whitman – Eleanor L. (Bowser) Kaval 96, a thirty year resident of Whitman died Thursday July 30 after a period of failing health. She was the beloved wife of the late John Kaval.

Born and raised in Rockland she was the daughter of the late Charles and Florence (Beal) Bowser and a graduate of Rockland High School.

Eleanor worked over forty years as a delivery person for her son’s dental lab, Omega Dental of Holbrook.

Her family was always the most important aspect of her life and her greatest joy came from time spent with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children John Kaval, Jr. and Marlene Hillary both of Duxbury, and her grandchildren Kelly Ann, Martin, Leo and Jack. She was predeceased by two sisters.

Her funeral service will be held Saturday August 1 at 11 AM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel Plymouth Street (Rt. 58 at the rotary) Whitman. Burial will follow in the St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Rockland. Visiting hours will be held two hours prior to the service from 9–11 AM.
