Funeral Service in the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Thursday at 10 am. Rev. Cheryl Minor will officiate. Burial in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Visiting Hours Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8 pm. Donations in Mary’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Assn., P.O. Box 510042, Punta Gorda, FL 33951-0042.

Mrs. Vasil died Friday July 25, 2003 at Punta Gorda Elder Care in Punta Gorda, FL. Born in Taunton, the daughter of the late William and Claire (Pratt) Mulhern. She graduated from St. Mary’s Catholic School in Taunton and earned her RN degree at Morton Hospital. She retired in 1992 as a charge nurse from the Goddard Hospital in Stoughton after thiry-two years of service. She was a loving, caring person who touched many lives during her career. She loved life and caring for her family, she also loved quiet times at the beach and in the mountains. At the time of her death, she was anticipating the birth of her first great-grandchild.
She is survived by her daughter Donna Jean Kitson and her husband Donald of Punta Gorda and her son William S. Vasil of Brockton, a brother Richard Mulhern and his wife Jan of East Providence, RI; a sister Barbara Gibson and her husband Richard of Fredericksburg, PA and 5 grandchildren
