Armand “Babe” Frizado, age 75, of Fall River, passed away July 27, 2009. Husband of Kathleen (Soares) Frizado. Son of the late Manuel & Emily Frizado. Prior to retiring in 1997, Armand worked for Gold Medal Bakery in the Shipping Dept. He was a U.S. Marine Veteran of the Korean War, & a member of the Amvets & past member of the Fall River Lodge of Elks.
Besides his wife of Fall River, 2 daughters survive him: Norma & David Menard of Somerset and Lisa Worsely of Fall River. 5 grandchildren: Justin & Jason Menard and Makaylee, Brett, & A.J. Worsley. He was the brother of the late Manuel Frizado.
His funeral service will take place in the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1521 N. Main St. WEDNESDAY with visitation from 9:30 A.M. to the 10:30 A.M. services. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
