Dudley...Belford D."Ben"Kinney, Sr.,61, of 46 Eagle Drive, passed away peacefully on Saturday,July 25,2009 in his home.
He leaves behind three children,Belford D."Ben "Kinney, Jr. of Douglas, Jacqueline A. wife of David Van Dyke of Sutton, Christine L. wife of John Yurkevicius of Quinebaug, CT., his father John"Slim"Kinney of Bridgewater, ME., two sisters, Diane Gabriel of Mapleton,ME. and Donna Wilder of Milford, PA., His former wife, Susan, 3 grandchildren, Jordan and Elizabeth Kinney and Shane A. Yurkevicius, also 3 step grandchildren, Patrick, Chadd and Beau.He also leaves behind his close companion of over 13 years, Linda Mikolajcak.
Ben was born in Washburn, Me.,son of John and Elene (Baker)Kinney and lived here for 15 years.
He was a heavy equipment operator for A. Amorillo & Sons over 30 years and was alos a member of Local Union# 4 heavy equipment operators. He enjoyed heavy equipment, Old Muscle cars, fishing, and hunting, and taking drives through the country, especially with his German Shepherd "Jakey".
At "Big Ben's " Request, Funeral Services will be Private and at the convenience of the family.
There are no calling hours.
