Genevieve Welsh, 80, died Saturday, July 25, 2009, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 31, 2009, in the Chapel of Dennis George Funeral Home in Cleves, Ohio with burial to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Hamilton County, Ohio. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 30, 2009, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Dennis George Funeral Home in Cleves, Ohio.
Ms. Welsh was born on November 17, 1928 in Addyston, Ohio and was the daughters of Raymond G. Scanlon and Thelma Diekman Scanlon, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Elmer E. Welsh. She was a retired telephone operator.
Among her survivors is a son, Wayne Welsh of Tifton.
