Elvira (Giordanelli) Porras age 92 of Windham, NH died Thursday at Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Boston, MA.
She was born in Barrancabermeja, Colombia, South American. She came to the US 40 years ago. She was a resident of Windham for the past 8 years, formerly of Salem.
Mrs. Porras was a homemaker, and was a member of St. Joseph Church in Salem. Her life centered on her family, which was most important to her. She was very generous, giving, and loving to her family and friends.
She was predeceased by her Husband Rafael Porras
She is survived by 2 Daughters: Alix Porras Lawlor of Windham, NH
Victoria Porras & her Husband Arthur McAuley of Paxton, MA
1 Son: Carlos Porras & his Wife Rebecca Sholes of Worcester, MA
1 Brother: Vicente Giordanelli of Colombia
1 Sister: Maria Reyes of Italy
4 Grandchildren: Owen Lawlor, Alexandra Tokanel, Santiago & Daniella Porras
3 Great Grandchildren: Jimmy Tokanel Jr., Kayla & Alec Lawlor
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, July 27 at 11:30 AM at St. Joseph Church, Salem, NH. Cremation will follow.
Calling hours will be Sunday, July 26 from 2-6 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street, Salem, NH.
