Amelia (Coster) Elfman of Revere passed away on July 24, 2009. She was 102 years old. Born in London, England she lived in Revere most of her life. Amelia was educated in the Malden schools before moving to Revere. She was a life member of the Jewish War Veteran’s Auxiliary, Prince Strauss Post in Revere. Amelia was a chaplain for over 40 years.
Amelia was the beloved wife of the late Louis Elfman. She was the devoted mother of Nancy Greenberg and her husband Irving of Revere, Thelma and her husband Leonard Seidenberg, Marion Elfman and her late husband Alvin, and the late Henry Trager . Cherished grandmother of Ronnie Seidenberg, Steven Greenberg, Edward Greenberg, Debbie Seidenberg, Linda Zach, Lisa Roblin, and Richard Elfman. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be held at the Sudilkov Cemetery 232 Fuller St. Everett on Sunday July 26, at 11:00 A.M. Memorial observance will be private. Donations in her memory may be made to the Lighthouse Nursing Care Center, Attn: Activity Fund, 204 Proctor Ave., Revere, MA 02151 or a charity of your choice.
