Jeannette F. Grenier, 88, of Manchester, died July 22, 2009 at Villa Crest after a lengthy illness.
She was born in Manchester, August 8, 1920 and was the daughter of Alfred and Rebecca (Carrier) Thibodeau. She was a lifelong resident of this city and had wintered in Inverness, FL for 20 years.
Mrs. Grenier worked for Evangeline Shoe Co. and Myrna Shoe Co.
She had been a member of the former St. Edmond Church.
She was a very generous and kind hearted person.
She was married to Raymond H. Grenier, who died in 2004. In addition she was predeceased by a sister, Yvonne Zyla.
Family members include two step-daughters, Annette Saulnier of Merrimack and Elaine Dionne of Manchester; 3 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; a niece, Susan Gregoire of Manchester, and 3 nephews, Robert Zyla, William Zyla and David Zyla, all of Manchester;
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Friday, July 24, 2009 at Parish of the Transfiguration. Committal prayers followed in Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown.
