Fall River – Kim Ellis, 47, of Fall River died unexpectedly at home on July 11, 2009. She was the fiancée John A. Santos of Fall River.
Ms. Ellis was born in New Bedford, daughter of Nathaniel B. Ellis and the late Doris (Bourgault) Ellis Mendez, and resided in New Bedford most of her life. She attended the First Congregational Church Lunds Corner.
In addition to her father and fiancé, she is survived by her 2 sons: Jason A. Ellis of Fairhaven and Joshua S. Ellis, Sr. of Berlin, NH; 4 brothers: Frederick W. Ellis, Sr. of New Bedford, Troy Ellis of New Bedford, Louis Mendez of Florida, and Darren Mendez of Florida; 5 grandchildren: Logan A. Ellis of Fairhaven, Devin J.P. Ellis of Fairhaven, Austin Correia of Berlin, NH, Collyn Ellis of Berlin, NH and Joshua Ellis, Jr. of Berlin, NH; her lifelong friend: Bob Bessette of Mattapoisett; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the twin sister of the late Kevin Ellis.
