Ethel Mae (Dyer) (Johnson) O’Brien, 76, of Goffstown, died July 21, 2009 at her residence after a brief illness.
She was born in Otter Creek, ME, on November 11, 1932 and was the daughter of Preston and Bertha (Davis) Dyer.
Ethel devoted her life to her family and cherished the time she spent with her children and grandchildren.
She leaves her husband of 45 years, Robert M. O’Brien of Goffstown; five children, John Johnson of Colorado, Richard Johnson and his wife, Cheryl, of Manchester, David Johnson and his wife, Karen, of Bedford, NH, Kelly LaRochelle and her husband, Dan, of Manchester and Karen Aldenberg and her husband, Allen, of Goffstown; 11 grandchildren, Shane, David, Amy, Richard, Jennifer, Benjamin, Paige and Erin Johnson; Matthew and Alex LaRochelle and Hunter Aldenberg; four great grandchildren; a brother, Charles Dyer of California; 1 aunt, 1 uncle, cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Patsy Johnson in 1955, by her first husband, Richard Johnson in 1960, a brother, Pearl Dyer and a sister, Fern Lazott.
The funeral service was held Friday, July 24, 2009 in the funeral home chapel.
