Steven Lee Fambrough, 56, Clarksville, died Monday, July 20, 2009, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Neal-Tarpley Chapel with Rev. Terrell Marcom, Rev. David Fambrough, and Rev. Gary Shockley officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until the hour of the service Thursday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born February 14, 1953 in Montgomery County son of the late Jesse Lee Fambrough and Anne Adkins Fambrough. He was preceded in death by daughter, LeAnn Fambrough. Mr. Fambrough worked at Trane Co. He was a Deacon at Cumberland Drive Baptist Church for thirty years and was presently a member of Excell Baptist Church. Survivors include wife, Eulanne Smith Fambrough; son, Brad Adkins Fambrough (Jo Ellen), Clarksville; three sisters, Linda Fambrough Jackson, Janet Fambrough Staggs, and Nancy C. Fambrough, all of Clarksville; and one grandson, Steven Wyatt Fambrough. Pallbearers will be John Adkins, Russell Adkins, Bobby Green, Barry Murray, Ronnie Williams, Dwight Staggs, Phillip Morris, and Larry Jarrell.
