Frost, Halqua “Jack”, 87 died Friday July 17, 2009 at home. Mr. Frost was born in Scottsville, KY.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years Christena and his parents Virgil and Minnie Frost. He was a WWII Veteran and retired from DuPont Chemical Company as a Chemical Operator after 35 years.
Mr. Frost is survived by his daughters Linda G. Frost, Janett L.Goff (Les), son Ronald N. Frost (Jenny), grandchildren Teri Boydston, Cheri Schlager, David Goff, Jeremy Frost, Heather McLennan, great grandchildren Melissa Schlager, Schelby Schlager, Elizabeth Goff and a brother Veachel Frost. He was a member of Shively Baptist Church.
Visitation will begin at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Highway Louisville, KY Monday July 20th at 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
Funeral services are to be conducted Tuesday at 11:00 am at the funeral home with graveside services and burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
