Edward J. Walsh, Sr, 79, Clarksville, died Monday, July 13, 2009, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday at Neal-Tarpley Chapel. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery with full military honors. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of the service Thursday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born August 15, 1929 in Manhattan, New York son of the late Kenny and Anna Walsh. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Bu Hyang. Mr. Walsh served in the US Army for 32 years and retired as Sergeant Major. Survivors include two sons, Edward Walsh, Jr (Wendy); and Donald Wlash and fiance, Penny Powell; three grandchildren, Joseph, Paul, and Sally Walsh; and one great granddaughter, Shaylee Walsh.
