WORCESTER-Uzdaje (Shala) Agimi, 85, of Worcester, died Sunday, July 12th in UMass-Memorial Hospital. Her husband, Skender Agimi, died many years ago. She leaves a sister, Jeta Spiro; a nephew, Cesmir Spiro and his wife Lela, and grandnephews, Elton and Bruen Spiro, with whom she lived; a niece, Arjana Celaj and her husband Dritan, all of Worcester.
She was born June 4th, 1924 in Albania, the daughter of Minush and Hatixhe Shala and moved here in 1994. Mrs. Agimi was a clerk for the Albanian Post Office and helped the Albanian Army during World War II.
The funeral is Wednesday, July 15th at 11:00 A.M. in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. Calling hours are from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 14th in the funeral home.
