Theresa R. (Coughlin) Tokarz, 82 of Raynham, died Wednesday, July 8, 2009, at Marian Manor Nursing Home. She was the wife of Edward M. Tokarz for sixty-three years. Born in Taunton, she was the daughter of the late Dennis and Rosa (Chartier) Coughlin, and lived in Taunton before moving to Raynham forty years ago. Theresa was a graduate of St. Mary’s Grammar and High Schools and the Wilfred Beauty Academy. She was the owner and operator of Swirls and Curls Beauty Shop for many years. She was also employed as a bookkeeper at Russell Myers and Sons, Eddie’s Auto Parts and Patriot Oil Company. In addition to her husband, Theresa is survived by two daughters: Terralynn Hill and her husband Robert of Mattapoisett: Patti Sylvia and her husband Carlton, and one son Michael E. and his wife Ruth all of Raynham. She also leaves three grandchildren Amy J. Hill Jesse E. and Michael F. Tokarz; a sister Rita C. Davis and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends are kindley invited to a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Ann’s Church in Raynham on Friday, July 17th at 11 am. Calling hours will be held prior to the mass Friday morning from 9 am to 10:30 am.in the O'Keefe-Wade Funeral Home in Taunton. Inurnment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Taunton.
