New Bedford – Antonio M. Figueiredo age 63, died at St. Lukes Hospital on July 8, 2009. Mr. Figueiredo was the husband of Maria Estrela Figueiredo of New Bedford and the late Maria I. Figueiredo. He is survived by 2 sons Elidio Manuel Figueiredo of Portugal and Domingos Manuel Figueiredo of New Bedford, 2 daughters Rose Estrela Figueiredo and Irene Maria Figueiredo both of Portugal, 3 stepchildren Joao Perpetuo of Portugal, Carla Riboca and Diana Ferreira both of New Bedford, a brother Luis Figueiredo of New Bedford. He was also survived by 5 grandchildren and 3 step grandchildren.
Mr. Figueiredo was a son of Adelaide DeJesus (Fernandes) and the late Manuel Figueiredo. He was born in Lavos Cava-Gala Figueira da foz, Portugal. Antonio was employed as a Fisherman.
Mr. Figueiredo service is at the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. during Visiting hours on Tuesday July 14, 2009 from 5 – 7 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial will take place in Portugal.
