Gary E. Vining, age 56 passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 26th. Born in Medford he was the son of Josephine (Terrio) of Medford and the late Richard M. Vining. He was the beloved husband of Joanne (Gardella) Vining. Gary was a retired supervisor at his family business, the Vining Disposal Co. Of Medford. He was a decorated U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a recipient of the Purple Heart. Gary was also a member of the Medford V.F.W. Post 1012. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Gary´s memory to The New England Home for Homeless Veterans, 15 Court St. Boston, MA 02115.
In addition to his wife and mother he is survived by his daughters Amanda and Vanessa and his son John Vining. He is further survived by his brothers, Richard F. and his wife Suzanne of Stoneham, David T. and his wife Jayne of Andover, Michael P. and his wife Patricia of Stoneham, Steven C. Vining of Medford and is preceaded in death by his late brother Ronald J. Vining. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 main St. Medford, Wednesday at 9 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Fellsway West, Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 5 thru 9. Interment will be private.
