Khalil G. Nashawaty, of Canton, died peacefully in his home surrounded by his family July 8, 2009. He was 89. Mr. Nashawaty was a retired electrical engineer for Polaroid and a proud veteran of W.W. II, serving in the United States Air Force. Devoted husband of the late Anna (Henry). Loving father of George K. Nashawaty of Canton, Patricia A. Hanson and her husband Allan Claydon of Canton, Frederick Nashawaty and his wife Donna of N.H., Charles Nashawaty of Canton, and the late David Nashawaty. Father-in-law of the late Stephen E. Hanson. Also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Visiting hours Friday 4-8. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. A Funeral Service will be in the Roache-Pushard Family Funeral Home Saturday at 11 AM. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Canton.
