Phillip Francis Wallus, 80, Clarksville joined his Lord and Savior Jesus and his beloved Marion, died Wednesday, July 8, 2009, at Montgomery Care and Rehab Center. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Neal-Tarpley Chapel with Brother Harold Witmer officiating. Burial will be in Hickory Point Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until the hour of the service Saturday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born January 5, 1929 in Madison, Illinois,son of the late Phillip Francis Wallus and Anna Aleksiak Wallus.He was preceded in death by his wife, Marion Holt Wallus. Mr. Wallus served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He retired as a maintenence tech with Rayethon and was a member of The Community Church. Survivors include two sons, Bobby Wallus, Oak Ridge,TN; and David Wallus (Carolyn), Clarksville; two daughters, Karen Hill (Sam) and Katrina Wallus, both of Clarksville; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Benjamin, Thaddeus, Joshua, and Aaron Wallus, Jeremiah and Enoch Hill, Ray Berry and Clarence Smith.
