WORCESTER-Frances R. (Laster) Malboeuf, 55, of 260 Greenwood Street died Friday, July 25th in Saint Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center, suddenly after being stricken ill at home. She leaves her husband of 29 years, Maurice J. Malboeuf; 2 sons, Thomas J. Malboeuf of W. Roxbury and Chad R. Malboeuf of Worcester; a brother, Joseph P. Laster of E. Greenich, RI; a granddaughter; 2 nephews and 2 nieces.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of Adeline R. (Bellione) Laster and has lived here all of her life, graduating from Commerce High School in 1966 and the Elizabeth Ollis Beauty Academy. Mrs. Malboeuf was employed at All School for 16 years, working as their cafeteria manager for the last 3 years. Previoiusly she worked at Perrone Hair Stylers for 7 years. She was a secretary for the local cafeteria’s Union, a member of the Massachusetts Food Service Association, loved cooking and her granddaughter.
The funeral will be Wednesday, July 30th from O’Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Ascension Church, 40 Vernon Street. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday, July 29th from 5:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
