Mary E. (Bowler) Tofuri, age 93, a lifelong resident of Winchester, passed away at the Aberjona Nursing Center on July 4th after at long illness. Mary was the beloved wife of the late Angelo Tofuri, and the loving mother of Richard Tofuri and Joanne Percoco, both of Winchester. A homemaker and devoted mother and wife, Mary loved her home, which was always a welcome place for all of her family. She enjoyed antiquing and yard sales, and always had extra things in her home. Mary was the dear sister of the late Edward Bowler, Cornelius Bowler and Margaret Caulfield and the caring grandmother of Luanne Zingarelli of West Boylston, Michael Percoco of Stoneham, Sue Adams of Goleta, CA, the late Mark Percoco. Mary is further survived by 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A Graveside Service will be held in the Wildwood Cemetery, 34 Palmer St., Winchester on Sat. July 11th at 11AM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary’s memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
