Obituary

Mary (Ustinowich) Kiejza, 91 formerly of Franklin died July 5 in the Milford Care and Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Cambridge, June 18, 1917, the daughter of the late Walter and Stella (Kojro) Ustinowich, Mrs. Kiejza had lived in Franklin for most of her life prior to moving to Milford nine years ago.
Mrs. Kiejza had been a seamstress at the Natick Labs for 30 years before retiring.
She enjoyed sewing, knitting and playing cards. Mrs. Kiejza had been one of the original participants in the Framingham Heart Study.
She is survived by her son, William “Tiny” Kiejza of Dartmouth Mass.
She was the mother of the late Alfred Kiejza and the late Kathleen Hanrahan.
She is also survived by her sisters, Helen Kent of Florida and Ann Dalton of Brewster.
She was the sister of the late Frank Hustin.
Mrs. Kiejza is also survived by her grandchildren, Joanna, Rose Mary and Kristina, 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
She was the grandmother of the late David Hanrahan.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, July 9 in St. Mary’s Church in Franklin at 10:00 a.m.
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in West Medway.
Calling hours are omitted.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to the charity of one’s choice.
