BEVERLY- Dorothy B. (Hubisz) Audet Jones, 70, of Kelleher Road, Beverly, formerly of Salem, wife of the late Curtis E. Jones, Sr., died Tuesday morning, October 2, 2001 at her residence following a long illness.
Born in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Wanda (Zujewska) Hubisz. A resident of Beverly for over 20 years, she was a resident of Salem for most of her life. She was a parishioner of the St John The Baptist Church, Salem, attended St John The Baptist Grammar School and was a graduate of Salem High School.
She was employed in the office of Industrial Trucking in Peabody, then at the A.C. Lawrence Credit Union in Peabody, during which time she was the treasurer of the local leather workers union. She was later employed at the Devereux House Nursing Home in Marblehead.
She is survived by five daughters, Barbara J. Garrette of Beverly, Susan D. Lynch of Westchester, PA, G. Constance Audet Lydstone of Bedford, NH, Diane F. Tanzer of Brandon, FL, Patricia M. Walker of Salem, twelve grandchildren, Brian Garrette of Amesbury, Matthew Garrette of Peabody, Amy and Andrew Lynch of Westchester, PA, Corey, Haley and Maxwell Lydstone of Bedford, NH, Kara Walker of Peabody, Rebecca and Neil Walker of Salem, Michael Tanzer of Orlando, FL and Christopher Tanzer of Brandon, FL. She was predeceased by one grandson Jarrod Lynch.
Her funeral service will be held on Friday, October 5, 2001 at 8:30 am from the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem, followed by a funeral Mass at 9:30 am at the St John The Baptist Church, Salem. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours are Thursday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Burial will be in Puritan lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
