Worcester - Lillian R. (Letiecq) Allen, 92, formerly of 70 Merrick Street died Saturday, July 26 in Beaumont Nursing Home at Northboro after an illness.
Her husband Ralph L. Allen died in 1963. She leaves a brother Norman C. Letiecq of Middletown, Rhode Island and several nieces and nephews. She was born in Worcester daughter of Napoleon and Lilly (Beaudoin) Letiecq.
Mrs. Allen was a custodian for E.J. Cross for many years, retiring in 1970. She also worked at Grafton State Hospital as a nurse for many years.
She was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Church and the American Association of Retired People.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, July 29 from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home (www.Royfuneral.com) 12 Hammond Street with a mass at 10 AM in Holy Name of Jesus Church, 53 Illinois Street. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Waterville Street, North Grafton. Calling hours are Monday, July 28 from 5 to 7 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions maybe made to Holy Name of Jesus Parish Fund, 51 Illinois Street, Worcester, MA 01610 or American Cancer Society.
