Obituary

STOUGHTON- Raymond J. Martin , passed away on Friday July 25,2003, after a Lengthly illness, under the care of Vista Hospice, at the home of his Sister, in Stoughton. He was 50 years old.

Born July 30, 1952, he was the son of the late Raymond T. and Leona M. (McInerney) Martin.

He attended St. Mary’s School in Stoughton, and was an Alter Server At the Immaculate Conception Church, in Stoughton.

He graduated From Stoughton High School in 1970.

He was a self- employed Craftsman and had various skills in the Construction Field.

He loved fishing and woodworking.

Ray was dedicated to his children, and cherished them all dearly.

He also loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his three children: Mrs. Carly J. Martin, and her Husband Michael P. Martin, of Plymouth, MA, Matthew R. Martin, of Marion,MA and Julie A. Martin, of New Bedford,MA. Beloved brother Of Mrs. Beverly A. Engley and her husband Ralph F. of Stoughton. Also Survived by three loving grandchildren: Carly J.L. Martin , Makayla H. Martin, both of Plymouth and Noah J. Palombo, of New Bedford,MA.

Funeral from the Sheehan Funeral Home, 115 Monk Street, (off Rt. 138 At the First Federal Savings Bank), on Monday July 28,2003 at 8:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton Street(Rt. 27), Stoughton at 9:00 A.M. Interment will be private. Visiting hour is from 7:30 A.M. to 8:30 A.M. Donations to Vista Care Hospice, 354A Turnpike Street,Suite 101, Canton,MA 02021,in Ray’s memory, would be appreciated.
