Evans, GA.- On June 29, 2009, Jacquelyn R. Yount, born July 13, 1944 in Jacksonville, Florida, was called to her eternal home in Heaven by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Jackie is survived by her husband of 35 years, Marc B. Yount, and her heart, her daughter, Jessica E. Yount. Jackie’s beautiful life was dedicated to being a Godly example to her family and friends, and outweighed only by her abiding devotion to the Lord. She touched many lives with her self-less kindness, patience, wisdom, compassion and understanding.
Family members who are left to cherish Jackie’s precious memories are her two brothers: Sam and his wife, Yvonne Cunard and Raney and his wife, Penny Cunard; her nieces and nephews, Renee and Dave Hajek, Nolan Hajek, Lucas Hajek, Keith Schilling, Nikki Schilling, Shari West, Crystal Heatherly, Mark Cunard, and Emily Cunard; mother-in-law, Cora Yount ; in-laws: Michael and Jean Yount, Kim and John Fender, Matt and Trish Yount, Kelly and Jonny Miller; her nieces and nephews on her husband’s side, Erin Yount, Jonathan Fender, Jonathan and Heather Miller, Kaitlin Fender, Jacob Yount, Phillip Yount, Kaylah Miller, Carlyn Miller, Brinlee Miller, Aiden Miller; her beloved pets, Pookey and Achilles. There are many other members of Jackie’s extended family that were touched by her kind and caring spirit. In addition to the family, she left behind many close friends. Very dear to her heart and especially important during Jackie’s last few years of illness, was Vivian Silas, her worldly sister and special caregiver.
Jackie was preceded in death by her mother, Iris Whaley Cunard; her father, Hollis Cunard; her half- brother, Kenneth Schilling; and her father-in-law, Frank Yount.
While being a mom, sister, and aunt to so many in her family, she was also the inspiration and wisdom to the business her family owns, Marc Yount’s Tire and Auto Works in Evans, GA. Her prayers and vigilance have sustained the business and its employees for the last 25 years.
