WORCESTER-Frank A. Valerio, Jr., 83, of Splendora, TX, formerly of Worcester, died, Monday, June 29th in Woodland, TX. His wife Evelyn G. (Power) Valerio died in 1987. He leaves two sons, Ronald R. and his wife, LuAnn Valerio and Kenneth M. and his wife, Lisa Valerio all of Auburn; two daughters, Wendy L. Moss, and her husband Guy, of Splendora, TX and Rosemarie Gonzalez and her husband, Ramon of Worcester; two brothers Arthur Valerio in New Hampshire and Joseph Valerio of Nevada; seven grand children and three great grandchildren. His son Frank A. Valerio, III and his daughter Sandra L. Tripaldi predeceased him.
He was born in Falmouth, the son of Frank A. and Mary (Texeirra) Valerio. Mr. Valerio was a Navy veteran of World War II, and served on the destroyer U.S.S. Baldwin. He had worked as a rigger for D. J. Mungovan Trucking for many years, before retiring 18 years ago. Frank was a member of Main South Post 341, American Legion, and the Worcester County Deputy Sheriff’s Association.
Calling hours are Monday, July 6th from 6:00 until 8:00 PM in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. The funeral is Tuesday, July 7th with a service at 10:00 AM in the funeral home. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery.
