Donald Eugene Estes, 80, Clarksville, died Tuesday, June 30, 2009, at St Thomas Alive Hospice, Nashville, TN. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Neal-Tarpley Chapel with Rev. Felts Dent officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday and from 11 a.m. until the hour of the service Monday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born July 30, 1928 in Springfield, TN, son of the late Henry N. Estes and Berdie Cook Estes. Mr. Estes was a retired business owner and had served in the US Navy. Survivors include his wife, Ann Estes; two daughters, Donna Beets, New Port Richey, FL; and Lisa Estes Burris, Murfreesboro, TN; brother, Billy Joe Estes, Nashville, TN; two sisters, Edna Mae Hornberger, Smyrna, TN; and Virginia McKenzie, Nashville, TN; and four grandchildren, Bethany A.
