Obituary

Hassel Charles Wadsworth, 90, of Summerville, husband of Lucille M. Johnson Wadsworth died Monday, June 29, 2009 at his residence.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at 4:00 at Dorchester Memory Gardens, Summerville.
Friends may call James A. Dyal Funeral Home, Summerville from 6 until 8 Tuesday evening.

Hassel was born November 11, 1918 in Natowa, Michigan, son of the late Charles R. Wadsworth and Clara R. Mallory Wadsworth. He attended schools in Michigan. He enjoyed gardening and fishing. He was a retired truck driver with C&E Truckline.

Survivors including his wife are:
2 daughters: Linda L. Khalil of Grosse Pointe, Michigan and Mary Ann Phipps of Summerville, 1 sister: Natalie Burt of Homosassa, Florida, 5 grandchildren: Nicole Minnick (Randy) of Lake Orion, Michigan, Tony Khalil (Brenda) of Midland, Michigan, Mark Phipps (Felicia) of Ridgeville, Michael Phipps (Kim) of Summerville, Robert Phipps (Michelle) of Alvarado, Texas and 6 great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his parents and 4 brothers: Kenneth Wadsworth, Clifton Frazier, Lowell Wadsworth and Raymond Wadsworth.
