TEWKSBURY: Theresa Blanche (Tremblay) Aubut, age 83, a Tewksbury resident for over 50 years, passed away on Friday, June 26, 2009 at home.
She was the wife of Edward G. Aubut, who passed away on April 22, 1998.
Born in Lowell on October 30, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Francis X. and Laura R. (Belfierer) Tremblay.
Mrs. Aubut was raised in Lowell, attended the former St. Joseph's Parochial School and Lowell High School.
Following her marriage, she moved to Tewksbury, where she was a member of the Tewksbury Golden Age Club and Senior Drop-In- Center.
Prior to her retirement in 1987, she was employed as a supervisor by the Wang Corporation in Tewksbury, where she worked for 24 years. Mrs. Aubut currently worked part-time as a greeter at the Tewksbury Wal-Mart
She enjoyed many activities especially, bowling, playing bingo and traveling to Foxwoods Resort.
Mrs. Aubut is survived by one son, Thomas P. Aubut of Tewksbury; one daughter, Linda G. Valvano ; one brother, Donald Tremblay of Hudson, NY; two sisters, Doris Therrian of Lowell and Laura Deschene of Pelham, NH; four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
At her request there are No Calling Hours or Funeral Services. Private interment will be at Tewksbury Cemetery.
