Beloved wife of 68 years to Paul P. Emerick. Loving mother of Joan Young & husband David of Marshfield, Lucille Delaney & husband Stephen of Carver, and Paul D. Emerick & wife Elaine of Marshfield. Devoted grandmother of Christopher Young & wife Mary, Gregory Young, Jeffrey Young, Tara Fisher & husband Dennis, Lisa Chernin, and Ryan Delaney and her great grandchildren Sarah, John, Marykate, Megan, Sean, Jude, and Lane.
For over 40 years, Mrs. Emerick taught piano to the children of Hingham in her home. She was a graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston and had a lifelong passion for music. She often volunteered by entertaining at local nursing homes. She was an avid reader, loved crossword puzzles, and enjoyed traveling with her husband. Most of all, Mrs Emerick devoted her life to her family and will be greatly missed.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM on Monday 4-8 PM.
A Life Celebration Service will be held in the funeral home Tuesday at 9:15 AM prior to the Funeral Mass in Church of the Resurrection, 1057 Main St., Hingham at 10:00 AM.
Burial in Saint Paul's Cemetery, Hingham.
