R. Helen (Manoli) Seaton, 77, of Abington, died Wednesday June 24th in the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital, after a period of failing health. She was the wife of Arthur O Seaton. R. Helen was born in Abington, daughter of the late Henry R. and Frances B. (Fogarty) Manoli.
She was brought up in Rockland, a graduate of Rockland High School, class of 1949 and she also attended Williams Business School.
R. Helen has been a resident of Abington since 1956, where she was a crossing guard for 20 years. She also worked at the Brockton Hospital for more then 20 years.
She enjoyed bowling and being around her family.
In addition to her husband Arthur, she is survived by her 2 sons Paul J. and Stephen Seaton both of Abington, her sister Theresa Callahan of California, grandmother of 5 and great grandmother of 3,several nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Thomas E. Seaton.
Her Services will be held on Monday, June 29th at 10:00AM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel Plymouth Street (Rt. 58 at the rotary) Whitman. Visitation will be on Sunday June 28th from 2:00-6:00.Donations may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society, 1115 West Chestnut St. Suite 301, Brockton, MA. 02301
