Edward J. ‘Chick” Bradley, Jr.,86, of Worcester died Wednesday, June 24 in the St. Francis Home.
His wife of 60 years, Norma M. (Taylor) Bradley died in 2006. He leaves four children, Michael Bradley and his wife Nancy and Stephen “Baffles” Bradley both of Worcester,Shelli McCarthy with whom he lived and Edward and his wife Renee of Holden; ten grandchildren and nieces nephews. Two brothers, William Bradley and Wilfred Bradley and three sisters, Mabel Bradley, Irene Fitzpatrick and Hazel Austin predeceased him. He was born in Worcester, son of Edward J. Bradley, Sr. and Mary Ellen (Coonan) Bradley and graduated from St. Peter’s High School.
Chick was a field engineer for Mass Electric for many years, before retiring. He was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church. He enjoyed horse racing and was an avid fan of the Red Sox, Patriots and Bruins.
The funeral will be held Saturday, June 27, from Callahan and Fay Brothers Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St. with a Mass at 10 a.m. In Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main St. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.
