Fall River - Thomas C. Mitchell, 49, of Winter Street, Fall River died July 21, 2003 after a brief illness. He died at Charlton Memorial Hospital, Fall River.
He was born in Fall River son of the late Charles and M. Rita (Flanagan)Mitchell. He lived and worked in the Berkshires for 17 years, returning to reside in Fall River. He was a graduate of Bishop Connolly High School, Fall River and attended Bridgewater State College. He was employed by the Massachusetts Highway Department as an Assistant Engineer, most recently involved in the construction of thenew Brightman Street Bridge, Fall River.
Mr. Mitchell enjoyed traveling and summers at Westport Harbor. He was an avid reader.
Survivors include aunts, uncles and several cousins.
Visiting hours to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Sunday 3:30-5:30 P.M. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
