Obituary

Frank A. “Bud” Kinsherf 63, of Whitman died Monday June 22, 2009 at Signature Healthcare/Brockton Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was the loving husband of Kate “Kathy” (Sullivan) Kinsherf. Born in Boston and raised in North Quincy, Bud was the son of the late Dorothea (Hallinan) and John F. Kinsherf, Sr. Before moving to Whitman two years ago, he had resided in Brockton for many years.
Bud was a 1963 graduate of Norfolk County Agricultural School and had served in the US Navy during the Vietnam era. He was a retired florist with Stop & Shop having worked at many stores in the South Shore area. Previously he had been a printer at New England Art in Abington. Bud liked to watch movies, gardening and traveling but he especially enjoyed time spent with his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children Eric Kinsherf and his wife Sherrie of Bourne; Jeff Kinsherf and his wife Kim of Pembroke; Christopher Kinsherf of Whitman and Laurel Sedar and her husband Ray of Rockland. He was the grandfather of Michael, Tyler, Nicole, Meghan, Amanda, Bradley and Ashley. He also leaves two sisters and a brother Joan Richardi of East Kingston, NH; Rita Finch of North Ft. Myers, FL and John F. Kinsherf, Jr. of Halifax, his brother in law and sister in law Robert and Patricia Erminelli of Brockton and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Friday at 10am. Funeral Mass in Holy Ghost Church, Whitman at11am. Burial in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
