Ralph Williams, Sr., 74, died Sunday, June 21, 2009, in Jacksonville, Florida. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 24, 2009, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. Danny Stillwell will officiate with burial to follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 23, 2009, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mr. Williams was born on September 28, 1934 in Ty Ty and was the son of Joseph Clifford Williams and Johnnie Lee Lamb Williams, both deceased. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Kathleen Tucker Williams; and three sisters, Ruby Dabbs, Willie Mae Williams and Thelma Aultman. He was of the Baptist faith and a veteran of the United States Air Force.
Mr. Williams is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Ralph, Jr. and Jann Williams of Tifton; one daughter and son-in-law, Teresa Diane and Pascal Billemonte of Jacksonville, Florida; two brothers and sisters-in-law, J. C. and Mary Williams of Atlanta and Buddy and Irene Williams of Ashburn; one sister and brother-in-law, Evelyn and Richard Stout of Jacksonville, Florida; and two grandchildren, Logan Reed Williams and Misty Kathleen Minton.
