Brandon Young, 17, of Fitzgerald, died Friday, June 19, at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon.
Funeral services will be held 3 P.M., Sunday, June 21 at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald with Rev. Bobby Hires officiating. Interment will follow in the Mystic Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7-9 Saturday evening at the funeral home.
Brandon was born January 25, 1992 in Tift County, Georgia. He was adopted at an early age by Leon “Buck” Young and Laura Gladys Norris Young. He had lived in the community all of his life and was a member of the Baptist Purity Church.
In addition to his parents, Brandon is survived by brothers and sisters: Pedro Young, Diane Sims, Amber Young; god-brothers: Travis Stanford, and Dillon Mixon, all of Fitzgerald; and maternal grandmother: Gladys Turk of Perry, Florida.
