Jeannette Carpentier 93, of Vose St., died Friday in Miriam Hospital. She was the wife of the late Fernando Carpentier. Mrs. Carpentier was born in St. Sylvere de Nicolet, PQ, Canada, a daughter of the late Oscar and Gracia (Ducharme) St. Louis. Mrs. Carpentier was a homemaker. She was a former member of the Royal Travelers, and Holy Family Sr. Citizens.
Mrs. Carpentier is survived by six sons, Jean Claude Carpentier of New Brunswick, Canada, Rene Carpentier of Montreal, Canada, Ronald and Alain Carpentier both of Woonsocket, Real Carpentier of CT, and Yves Carpentier of SC, eight daughters, Mariette Dufresne of Cap-de-Madeleine, Canada, Lise Carpentier of Sorel, Canada, Celine Carpentier, Cecile Mulvaney, and Lorraine Brissette, all of Woonsocket, , Fernande Mercure of Millville, Joelle Warner of Burrillville, and Suzie Goulet of Hopedale, and one sister Helene Sarrazin of Sorel, Canada, forty grandchildren and forty five great grandchildren, and ten great great grandchildren. She was also the mother of the late Marcel Carpentier and sister of the late Germain St. Louis and Therese Peloquin.
Her funeral will be held Thursday at 9:00 from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 in Holy Family Church, South Main St. Woonsocket. Burial will be held in St. John's Cemetery in Slatersville. Visiting hours are Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
