Mrs. Irene (Andre) Alexander, age 77, died unexpectedly at home, Friday, June 19th. Born in New Bedford, she has been a Woburn resident for more than fifty years. Irene was the devoted daughter of the late Maria (Almeida) & Felisberto Andre.
Irene was devoted to her loving family. She loved to go shopping, enjoyed puzzles, crossword puzzles and reading but was most happy when she was with her loving family, especially her grandchildren.
Irene was the beloved wife of the late Charles A. Alexander Jr. Devoted mother of Karen Love Thorpe, Mark Alexander and his wife Cyndy of Tyngsboro, Nancy Patterson and her husband Jeffrey of Bedford and the late Laurie Alexander. Loving grandmother of Eric S. Thorpe, T.J. O'Donnell, Blake Alexander and the late Elizabeth Love Thorpe. Dear Friend of Mary Fumicello of Woburn.
Her funeral service will be held from the McLaughlin-Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., WOBURN, Tuesday at 9 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Barbara Church, 138 Cambridge Rd., Woburn at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 4 thru 8. Interment will be private
