Obituary

CHARLESTOWN - Alice J. (Frazier) Alexander, 83, of Charlestown, wife of the late Wesley Alexander, died unexpectedly Thursday morning, June 18, 2009 at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston.

Born and raised in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Everett H. Frazier and Eladia Frazier Stowe. She was a graduate of Salem High School and the Salem Commercial School. While living in Salem, she was a parishioner of the Immaculate Conception Church.

Prior to her retirement in 1987, she was employed as a medical secretary by Cardio Thoracic Associates in Medford. She previously worked in the offices of the Boston Stock Exchange.

After leaving Salem in her early 20's, Mrs. Alexander was a resident of Everett for 18 years then lived in Derry, NH until moving to Charlestown four years ago.

She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Alexander of Boston, Deborah Madden of Winthrop, 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, one sister, Grace Nelson of Boston an several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late William Frazier.

A Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 23, 2009 from 5 to 7 pm at the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, June 24 at 11 am at the St. Mary - St. Catherine of Siena Church, 55 Warren St., Charlestown. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
