Clayton Ambers Keay, 73, Clarksville, died Friday, June 19, 2009, at his residence. The funeral will be held at 2PM Monday at Neal-Tarpley Chapel with Brother Gene Brown and Brother Keith Howell officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 1PM until 6PM Sunday and from 12 PM until the hour of service Monday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born in Montgomery County, April 10, 1936 son of Lawnie Keay and Lillian Moss Keay.He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Lacy Edward Keay and Nathan Keay. He was a member and a Deacon of Stroudsville Church of Christ.He was the owner of Keay Construction. He is survived by his wife Violet Bryant Keay of Clarksville, two sons Terry Keay and Larry(Beverly)Keay both of Clarksville, one sister Frances Mason of Springfield, four granddaughters Jessica Rogers, Brittney Keay, Jana Keay, Calla Keay and one great grandson Logan Keay. Pallbearers will be Jim Bryant, Matt Kelly, Paul Traylor, Gary Keay, Dennis Bryant, Jace Rogers, Phillip Traylor and Larry Key. Honorary pallbearers will be employees of Keay Construction and Lewis(Jr.)Wade and Jeffery Logan.
